A Premier League supercomputer, Online Betting Guide (OLBG), has predicted that Erling Haaland of Manchester City will win the EPL Golden Boot for the third consecutive season. Haaland, who secured the prize in his first two seasons at the Etihad, scored 35 goals in 2022-23 and 27 in 2023-24.

OLBG estimates a 57.0 percent chance for Haaland to win it again this year. Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is given a much lower 9.1 percent chance of overtaking Haaland. Salah last won the EPL Golden Boot in the 2021-22 season, sharing it with Tottenham’s Son Heung-min.

Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins are both given a 6.7 percent chance of becoming the top scorer. Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Newcastle’s Alexander Isak are both assigned a 5.9 percent chance.
