Supreme Court Announces Date for Osun Election Judgement

The Supreme Court has announced its judgment date for the Osun State Governorship election.

The Supreme Court fixed May 9 for judgment on the appeal filed by former Osun Governor, Gboyega Oyetola against the election of Ademola Adeleke.

Recall that the Appeal Court had set aside an earlier judgment by the Osun Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which held in favor of Oyetola and removed Ademola Adeleke.

Meanwhile, Oyetola is praying for the court to reverse the March 25 judgment of the Court of Appeal in Abuja which declared Adeleke’s victory in the last governorship election in Osun State.
