Despite living alone, Damian maintained his innocence and claimed he did not commit the heinous act.

When questioned about why he did not report the murder, Damian explained that he was ill and had sought medical treatment at a pharmacy.

The 400-level University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT) student added that he was also afraid he will be accused of murder if he had reported.

The incident occurred along Road 15, NTA Road, Port Harcourt.
