An angry mob on Wednesday set an unidentified woman ablaze over alleged child theft in Agbarho community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to residents of the community, the woman was caught while attempting to steal a seven-year-old boy.

The deceased suspect was apprehended after the little boy raised an alarm, saying he doesn’t know her from anywhere.
It was gathered that the angry mob beat her to stupor before setting her ablaze after she was interrogated by the but couldn’t give reasonable answers on how she got the child.
The incident is said to have happened few days after residents of the community staged a protest over the kidnap/disappearance of children in the area.
At the time of filing this report, the Delta Police Command spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, had yet to confirm the incident.
