Concerns have been raised after a man stabbed his mother to death u see alleged drug intoxication.
According to reports, the man, simply identified as, a 23-year-old man allegedly stabbed his mother to death in Obiaruku, Delta State for cautioning him against smoking early in the morning.

According to an eyewitness, the mother, who was said to be in her 50s had cautioned Samson from smoking very early in the morning, and an enraged Samson resulted in stabbing his mother with a knife.
Samson’s elder brother, who is a sickle cell patient raised the alarm with a shout and this attracted people into the compound because the gate of the compound was still under lock.

When neighbors got into the compound, the woman was met lifeless in her own pool of blood.
In a video making rounds on X, Samson could be seen with the knife he allegedly used to kill his mother.
It was gathered that after Samson finished his secondary school education, he was taken to Asaba toearn a trade, but got tangled with drug addicts, which ked to him being brought back home.
Confirming the incident to newsmen, the spokesman for the Delta State Police Command, SP Bright Edafe, said Samson had been arrested by the police.
