Some suspected herdsmen had stormed the court and overpowered the men of Correctional Service to set the fleeing suspects.
However, they were later rearrested by a combined team of security agencies.
A source at the Correctional Centre has revealed that the same four suspected herdsmen escaped from prison again in the early hours of Thursday.
Confirming the report to newsmen on Friday, Mr Samuel Aguda, the Controller- in-Charge of the command attributed the development to negligence on the part of personnel on duty.
“When I came to the scene, I realised that it is either that they duplicated the key to the cell or there was serious negligence on the part of personnel on duty. The inmates escaped through the fence,” he added.
