The Ekiti State Police Command has apprehended an elderly man who usually disguised as mentally handicapped, but alleged to be a kidnapper and ritualist.
He was apprehended on Sunday, January 18, in Ado-Ekiti, at an abandoned uncompleted building adjacent to the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital.
Some residents had noticed his suspicious movement prior to his arrest.

Pictures suspected to be those of victims and charms were found in his possession. Others items recovered at the den include ATM cards, horns, books, wigs and cheque.
Meanwhile, some residents disclosed that the suspect had always behaved like someone suffering from mental ailment on the street and that they had no idea he was involved in such nefarious acts.
The suspect has however been handed over to the police for further investigation.
