Sven-Goran Eriksson Tips Liverpool for Premier League
SHARE

Sven-Goran Eriksson, former England manager, has weighed in with his prediction for this season’s Premier League title race, tipping Liverpool as the favorites to clinch the trophy.

Eriksson expressed his belief that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side has been displaying impressive football throughout the current campaign. As of now, Liverpool holds the second spot in the EPL table, tied on points with Arsenal at the top but behind on goal difference, while maintaining a one-point lead over third-placed Manchester City.

Liverpool’s recent success in winning the Carabao Cup adds to their momentum, and they remain contenders in both the Premier League and the Europa League competitions.

When asked about the possibility of Liverpool securing a treble this season, Eriksson responded positively, indicating his confidence in the team’s capability to achieve such a feat.

“I don’t know…

“Well, I think that Liverpool will win the league. They can’t win the FA Cup, unfortunately.

“But they are playing good football and young players coming up, players which I never saw.”
