Aminu Tambuwal, former Governor of Sokoto State, has firmly stated that he is not part of the northern coalition purportedly advocating for the removal of President Bola Tinubu.
In an interview on Channels Television, Tambuwal emphasized his unwavering commitment to ensuring the democratic and lawful removal of the Tinubu administration and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming 2027 elections.

When asked about his recent encounter with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Tambuwal suggested that his trial was politically motivated, reflecting discomfort from the Tinubu administration over his activities with the opposition African Democratic Party (ADC).

He confirmed that his political ambitions and efforts to foster a national coalition for change are the primary reasons behind the alleged targeting by those in power.
Tambuwal expressed confidence that, with the support of Nigerians and divine guidance, the current administration will be democratically ousted.
He clarified that while there are concerns among some northern factions about the Tinubu administration, he is not part of the faction calling for an immediate removal.
Instead, he is dedicated to a constitutional and democratic process that will bring about the change in leadership on May 29, 2027.
