Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state has declared his intention to contest for president in 2023.
The governor will stand under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The former House of Representatives Speaker made the announcement Monday evening after a stakeholders’ meeting in Sokoto.

He promised to fix the problems faced by Nigeria as he praised himself for good leadership without corruption charges.
