A cult attack has claimed the life of a student at the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED).
According to reports, the student, Ola Fabiyi, who was a final year student, and the general governor for TASUED’s College of Humanities was attacked after a group of men dressed in white shirts invaded the institution’s exam hall a d dragged Ola outside.

They reportedly beat him with stones, stabbed him and left him unconscious in the bush. This happened on Wednesday, July 3.
In a video shared online, the colleagues of the final year student could be seeing watching in shock and horror, and only came out to help him when the cult members had left.
Student witnesses say campus security operatives only arrived at the crime scene after the cult members had already fled.
Ola was rushed to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead.

Reacting to the incident, the deputy registrar of the institution, Babatunde Odugbesan announced that the semester’s examination has been postponed
“Students are assured of their safety and are advised to remain calm while investigations ongoing get to the root of the cultist attack,” he said
