Teenage Girl Found Dead Inside Popular Hotel Room in Delta

The corpse of an 18-year-old girl simply identified as Ogochukwu, has been recovered from a room inside a popular hotel in Owa Community, Ika North Local Government Area of Delta State.

The deceased is reported to have lodged into the hotel along Efeizomor road in the company of two suspected internet fraudsters, otherwise known as Yahoo Boys.

The suspected fraudsters however, left the deceased behind while they checked out of the hotel the following day.

Witnesses say there were no stab wounds or symptoms of strangulation on the decreased.

Confirming the incident, the Delta Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya revealed that investigation has been initaited into the matter.

”I got across to the DPO Agbor and he said that a lot of things happened around the community. An investigation has commenced,” Onome said.
