Shatu Garko, an 18-year-old hijab model has been crowned winner of the Miss Nigeria 2021 beauty pageant.
Garko is a lover of horse riding, and represented the North West region of Nigeria at the contest.
Her win makes her the first Hijab model to win the crown as well as the 44th queen of the contest.

Garko, who was the youngest entrant, defeated 17 other contestants to become to wear the Miss Nigeria 2021 crown.
