Teenager Killed By Stray Bullet At Lagos Anti-Cultism Rally

• An underaged boy has passed away, after being hit by a stray bullet in Lagos state.

• This happened during an anti-cultism rally in the state.

Tension has erupted in Lagos state, after a teenager gets hit by a stray bullet during a rally.

According to reports, the 16-year-old boy, identified as Mustapha was hit by a stray bullet following a suspected cultist clash in the State.

This happened during a peace walk/rally in the Oyingbo area of Ebute Metta, Lagos State, on Monday, April 21.

The peace walk, which was organized by youths in the community to preach against cultism and it’s related vices turned sour quickly as people scamper to safety.

A witness who confirmed the incident noted that the walk had just been concluded when an argument broke out amongst them, and a suspected cultist pulled out a firearm and began shooting sporadically.

“Mustapha just came out to support the walk. He was not part of any gang. He is a calm and respectful boy. He was taken to the hospital after the bullet hit him but he died on the way,”
