Nigerian singer and record producer Tekno has firmly denied reports that he collapsed while performing on stage. The speculation began circulating on Tuesday, fueled by rumors and a viral video showing an individual being carried off stage, which many initially believed to be Tekno.

The video showed several men assisting a person who appeared to have collapsed during a live performance, leading to widespread concern among fans and media outlets.

Addressing the situation directly, Tekno took to his Instagram page to clear up the confusion. He assured his followers that he is in good health and confirmed that he is not currently in South Africa, where the performance incident was reportedly alleged to have occurred.

In his Instagram post, Tekno stated, “Hey guys, I’m hale and hearty and not currently in South Africa. I hope whoever that was in the video is doing well and ok. Thank you, guys. Love you.”

As of now, there has been no further information regarding the identity of the person in the video or the circumstances surrounding their collapse.
