On Sunday night, armed bandits reportedly stormed the Kajuru-Station community in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, kidnapping at least 87 individuals.
It was said the attackers looted shops and houses within the community.
The incident occurred just one day after 14 people were abducted by bandits in the nearby Dogon Noma community.

Kajuru and Chikun Local Government Areas have been facing increased attacks recently, including the abduction of 287 students from Kuriga community in Chikun.

In response, the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Christopher Musa, met with Governor Uba Sani to assure that efforts are underway to rescue the kidnapped victims.
Musa stated that the military and other security agencies are working tirelessly to secure their release.
