Terrorists Organise Naming Ceremony For Female Victim’s Child

Terrorists have organised a child christening feast of a 16-year-old abducted female student of the Federal Government College (FGC), Birnin Yauri, in Kebbi State.

It was gathered that the kidnapped student gave birth to the child in their custody.

The young mother is among 11 remaining female students yet to be released after gunmen abducted over 100 students among others on June 17, 2021.

Eight teachers of the school were also kidnapped and a policeman was killed in the boarding school during the attack.

However, a few days after the abduction, security operatives succeeded in rescuing some of the students. The bandits also released the teachers and 30 of the students.

Earlier, it was reported that the student delivered a baby boy in the hideout of the terrorists a few weeks ago.

Additionally, a source who spoke with newsmen of the child’s christening disclosed there were four other pregnant girls of which one of them was due to delivery.

The source said:

There are about four other female students who are pregnant at the moment. One of them is due to give birth any moment from now.”
