Terry G, the legendary Nigerian singer born Oche Gabriel Amanyi, has announced his retirement from the music industry.
Terry G made the announcement in an Instagram post on Saturday.
While he expressed gratitude towards his loyal supporters for their love over the years, he did not disclose the specific reason behind his decision.

“But I’m about to make a big announcement. I know it’s going to hurt a lot of people, but I’ve my personal reasons. I’m quitting music. I’m done. And I really appreciate you guys for showing me so much love.”
Terry G, also known as the ‘AKpako master,’ has left an indelible mark on the music scene with popular tracks such as Akpako Master, Free Madness, Jump And Pass, and Sangalow.
