Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has remained neutral when asked to pick his favorite for the 2024 Ballon d’Or award.
Rather than choosing a specific player, Courtois expressed his hope that the winner would come from Real Madrid.
This year, seven Real Madrid players have been nominated for the prestigious award. Among the nominees are Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, Dani Carvajal, Antonio Rüdiger, Kylian Mbappé, and Toni Kroos.

Mbappé, who recently joined Real Madrid after leaving Paris Saint-Germain, had a remarkable season, scoring 44 goals and providing 10 assists while helping PSG win the Ligue 1 and Coupe de France titles.
Thibaut Courtois, while not naming any individual player, made it clear that he would love to see one of his teammates take home the Ballon d’Or. “Hopefully one of my teammates wins it. They all have merit, but I hope the winner is from Real Madrid,” he said, according to Madrid Xtra.
