Tinubu Appoints 3 New Ministers | Daily Report Nigeria

President Bola Tinubu has appointed three new ministers, namely Dr Jamila Bio, Balarebe Abbas, and Olawale Olawande.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that the trio was sent to the Senate for confirmation when the lawmakers resumed plenary session on Tuesday.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio read a letter from President Tinubu requesting the confirmation of the ministerial nominees.

According to the letter, the appointment of the new ministers will bring a fresh perspective to the government and help in the implementation of new policies.

Lawal hails from Kaduna State, Ibrahim from Kwara State, and Olawande from Ondo State.

Recall that the Senate in August 2023 screened and confirmed 45 ministerial nominees while another three were unconfirmed.
