Tinubu Appoints Acting Rector For Nasarawa Polytechnic | Daily Report Nigeria

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr Samuel James as the Acting Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa (FPN).

James will be in charge of the Polytechnic until a permanent Rector is appointed.

His appointment follows the end of Dr Abdullahi Alhassan’s tenure as the previous Rector.

The Federal Ministry of Education decided to appoint James after Dr Alhassan’s five-year term ended on December 31, 2023.

James previously served as the Polytechnic’s Deputy Rector, Academics.

In his remarks, he thanked God and the Federal Ministry of Education for the opportunity to serve and promised to work collaboratively with the management and staff of the Polytechnic to achieve important goals and contribute to the institution’s progress.

His appointment was announced by Safina Sabo, the Acting Director of Information and Publicity for the institution, in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State on Friday.
