Tinubu Appoints Shehu Mohammed as FRSC Chief

Tinubu Appoints Shehu Mohammed as FRSC Chief | Daily Report Nigeria

President Bola Tinubu has confirmed the appointment of Mohammed Shehu as the new Corps Marshal and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC).

Shehu’s appointment was announced by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (AGF).

According to Imohiosen, the appointment takes effect from May 20 for an initial term of four years.

Shehu succeeded Dauda Biu, who was appointed by former President Muhammadu Buhari in December 2022.

Imohiosen said:

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the appointment of Assistant Corps Marshal Mohammed Shehu as the Corps Marshal/Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC).

“President Tinubu tasks the appointee to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new assignment.
