President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to spend the Yuletide holidays after concluding official engagements in Borno and Bauchi states.
It was gathered that the President departed Abuja on Saturday as part of a three-state tour.

During his visit to Borno State, Tinubu inaugurated several projects executed by the state government under Governor Babagana Zulum in partnership with the Federal Government.
He also attended the wedding ceremony of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno State Governor and Senator, Ali Modu Sheriff, and his bride, Hadiza Kam Salem, which took place in Maiduguri.

Following his engagements in Borno, the President proceeded to Bauchi State, where he paid a condolence visit to the state government and the family of the late Islamic cleric and Tijjaniyya leader, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, who died on November 27.
Tinubu thereafter arrived in Lagos, where he is expected to undertake several activities during the festive period.
One of his scheduled engagements includes attending the Eyo Festival on December 27 at Tafawa Balewa Square as the guest of honour.
The festival will celebrate notable personalities, including the President’s late mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, as well as former Lagos State governors, the late Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Michael Otedola.
