President Bola Tinubu has commended the military for its triumph over notorious bandit leader Halilu Sububu, whose reign of terror had gripped Zamfara, Sokoto, and other Northwest regions.
The President’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, revealed that Tinubu attributed the success to the military’s enhanced capabilities, which have bolstered national security.
According to Onanuga, the operation’s success underscores the effectiveness of the President’s strategic directive to deploy top military brass to the troubled zone until stability is restored.
