The former Abia State Governor, Senator Orji Uzor-Kalu has defended the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ill-health speculations.

Reports had insisted that the 2023 APC presidential candidate of the party has health problems, declaring him unfit for the race.

However, defending Tinubu,
Kalu also stated that every Nigerian above 40 years old suffered from one form of health challenge or the other.

The Chip Whip of the Senate
stated that Tinubu was as fit as a fiddle and there is no cause for alarm.

He said:

His (Tinubu’s) health is very stable. No man above 40 is not sick. There is not one, no Nigerian above 40 that is not sick.”

The federal lawmaker added that some incoherent statements attributed to Tinubu at APC presidential rallies were forged by political opponents.

He said:

These are things you people go to form on the internet. All these things can be forged by political opponents.”
