President Bola Tinubu hosted members of the Federal Executive Council for a Ramadan Iftar at the banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.
Among the attendees were ministers of information and national orientation, housing, FCT, transportation, youths, and service chiefs.
The tradition of breaking the fast during Ramadan is observed at the Aso Rock Villa, the residence of Nigeria’s Presidents since 1999.
As usual, the occasion commenced with the Maghrib prayer, led by the Chief Imam of the Villa, Mallam Abdulwahid Suleiman.

Subsequently, Tinubu led the guests to the banquet, which lasted for an hour before the Isha night prayer.
During the month of Ramadan, the ninth month in the Islamic calendar, adult Muslims fast from dawn to dusk for 29 or 30 days.
