Over the past year, his administration has implemented various reforms, including the removal of petrol subsidies and the unification of foreign exchange windows.

However, these policies have been met with challenges, including rising inflation rates and a high cost of living crisis.

The President’s economic policies have drawn criticism from various quarters, including elder statesmen, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), and the Trade Union Congress (TUC), among others.

As Tinubu marks his first year in office, his address to the National Assembly is expected to provide insight into his administration’s plans to address these economic challenges and improve the lives of Nigerians.
