President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Wednesday, met with General Yakubu Gowon, the former Head of State, in an audience at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
A video capturing Tinubu’s warm welcome to Gowon was shared on social media by Dada Olusegun, the special assistant to the President.
However, the specifics of their discussion or the purpose of the meeting have not been immediately disclosed.
Gowon held the position of Nigeria’s Head of State from 1966 to 1975.
