President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja on Tuesday after attending the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference in Dubai, UAE.
During the conference, Tinubu engaged in bilateral talks with King Charles of England, the President of UAE, and leaders from various countries and multilateral partners.
The President also witnessed the signing of an agreement between Nigeria and Germany to enhance the country’s electricity supply.
Furthermore, he hosted a high-level meeting with stakeholders and investors on the Nigeria Carbon Market and the Electric Buses Rollout Programme.

Tinubu’s departure for the summit took place on November 29, 2023.
The Tinubu-led government faced criticism for sending 1,411 Nigerian delegates to the summit, a number that many critics deemed excessive.
However, the government claimed that it only provided funding for 422 individuals to attend.
