President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to present Nigeria’s ₦54.4 trillion 2026 Appropriation Bill to a joint sitting of the National Assembly on Friday, December 19, 2025.
The budget presentation, scheduled for 2:00 p.m., will take place at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja, subject to any last-minute changes.

According to an internal circular dated December 17, only accredited staff and authorised personnel will be allowed access to the complex during the session. The memo, issued by the Secretary of Human Resources and Staff Development of the National Assembly, Adm. Essien Eyo Essien, directed staff to report to their duty posts no later than 11:00 a.m.
The directive warned that access restrictions would be enforced strictly after the stipulated time, while non-accredited individuals were advised to stay away from the complex throughout the exercise.
