Bola Tinubu’s cabinet will be ready in two months

James Faleke, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has revealed that Bola Tinubu will announce members of his cabinet within 60 days of his inauguration as Nigeria’s President.

Faleke made this known during an exclusive interview with newsmen at Eagle Square, the venue of the inauguration.

He emphasized that Tinubu would do things differently from his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari, who unveiled his cabinet six months after his inauguration in 2015.

Faleke stated that the law required Tinubu to announce his cabinet within 60 days of his inauguration, but he can do so anytime before then.

He also expressed confidence that Tinubu will adhere to this timeline and announce his cabinet as soon as possible.

Many analysts have attributed the slow take-off of the Buhari administration to his late announcement of ministers.
