Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila will resign his position as a member of the Federal House of Representatives on Wednesday.
Gbajabiamila is expected to formally resign as a lawmaker during plenary on the floor of the House as he prepares to assume office as Chief of Staff.
Daily Report Nigeria understands that the resignation is for the former Speaker to wholly commit himself new role.
This follows concerns raised after he was inaugurated as a lawmaker and was actively involved in the voting process for the leadership of the 10th House of Representatives.

According to credible sources, Gbajabiamila, who represents Surulere Constituency 1 will submit resignation on Wednesday June 14, 2023.
Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will saddled with the conduction of a fresh election to replace the long-term serving lawmaker as mandated by the law.
