World record holder Tobi Amusan has revealed a first look at her highly anticipated documentary, Homecoming: The Tobi Amusan Story, in a gripping trailer shared on Instagram.
The 100m hurdles champion opens up about her ascent in athletics and the personal challenges that nearly derailed her career.
In a post on Tuesday, Amusan expressed her excitement about the documentary, stating, “Over the past couple of years, I’ve been pouring my heart into a project that shares my journey—the highs, the struggles and everything in between.” She emphasized that this film offers an opportunity for fans to witness her story intimately.
The trailer features pivotal moments from her career, including her historic world-record run at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Oregon, alongside her emotional battle with the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) regarding doping allegations.

Amusan faced an indefinite suspension in 2023 after “missing three tests in 12 months” but was cleared by the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) in June 2024.
