Nollywood actress Toke Makinwa admits she’s exhausted from having to be an independent woman.

She expressed her frustration with the tough economic conditions in a recent post on her Instagram page.

Makinwa, who just returned from an overseas trip, described the challenges she faced upon arriving in Lagos, which included fuel shortages and increased electricity tariffs.

She wrote, “Yoooo, landed in Lagos to all this madness—petrol scarcity, electricity tariff hike, diesel prices not smiling. What’s all this? Being an independent woman is exhausting.”
