The Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has donated ₦10 billion to the Delta State Security Trust Fund.

The donation, announced during the official launch of the fund at the Government House, Asaba, was made in the presence of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, top government functionaries, traditional rulers, security chiefs, and civil society representatives.

According to reports, Tompolo’s contribution represents one of the largest single private donations to a state security initiative in Nigeria’s recent history. The fund is expected to support operational logistics, surveillance, and community-based intelligence projects designed to curb rising security threats in Delta State.

A New Phase for Security Development

The launch of the Delta State Security Trust Fund marks a strategic move by the Oborevwori-led administration to engage both public and private stakeholders in advancing peace and development across the state.

Governor Oborevwori commended Tompolo for his patriotic gesture, describing it as a strong message of partnership in governance and security.
He said the donation “reflects a deep sense of commitment to the stability and growth of our state.”

Tompolo’s Role in Regional Stability

Tompolo, who has long been recognised as a key stakeholder in the Niger Delta peace process, reiterated his belief in collective responsibility toward protecting lives and assets.
He noted that sustainable peace requires consistent investment in security, youth empowerment, and economic inclusion.

“As sons and daughters of Delta, it is our duty to secure our land and empower our people,” he stated.
