Tordue Salem, a National Assembly correspondent of Vanguard Newspaper, has been found dead.
The deceased was declared missing by the Newspaper about a month ago.
Salem was last seen on October 13, 2021.

He is said to have alighted from a cab after the close of work that day at Total filling station, close to the Force headquarters, and headed for B.J’s garden, in the company of a female relative.
He later flagged a cab for the lady, telling her he was going to Area 8, Garki. He was never seen until the recovery of his remains on Thursday.
An alarm was raised following his mysterious disappearance was and the issue was directed to the Intelligence Response Team on October 16, 2021.
Vanguard reports that details surrounding the recovery of Salem’s corpse were still sketchy.
However, some persons, including one Prince Enyenihi, have been arrested in connection with Salem’s disappearance.
Enyenihi reportedly posed as a kidnapper and contacted the deceased’s wife to demand an N100 million ransom.
“If you don’t pay, Tordue will be killed in seven days. For more information, call this number,” Enyenihi was said to have said in a text message sent to Salem’s wife.
Meanwhile, the police have described the arrest as a distraction from its investigation.
