Toyin Abraham, a Nollywood actress, has spoken out to clarify a misunderstanding involving Priscilla Ojo, daughter of her colleague Iyabo Ojo, and Tanzanian musician Juma Jux.
The situation began after Juma Jux attended the 17th edition of a renowned award ceremony, which took place at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos. Juma won the Best East African Artiste of the Year award and thanked a variety of people during his acceptance speech, including his wife, Priscilla, and his fans.
However, a Twitter user, Oku Yungx, suggested that Juma Jux’s marriage to Priscilla was a tactic to gain recognition in Nigeria and secure awards.

Priscilla, responding sarcastically through what appeared to be her Twitter account, jokingly affirmed that her husband had married her for Nigerian recognition and the Headies Award. She praised Juma as a “smart, calculative, and hardworking man,” acknowledging that “the game is the game.”
In light of the controversy, Toyin Abraham took to X (formerly Twitter) to set the record straight, clarifying that Priscilla does not have a Twitter account. She stated, “Please, Priscilla doesn’t have a Twitter account. This is a fake account. Please, Priscilla is not on Twitter.”
Toyin’s statement has cleared up confusion surrounding the incident, with fans now understanding that the tweet was from an impersonator.
