Tayo Oluwatuyi, the Secretary to the Ondo State Government, has passed today away after being involved in a road accident along the Ife-Ibadan Road on December 19, 2024.
The state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Wale Akinlosotu, confirmed Oluwatuyi’s demise in a statement on Saturday. describing him as a dedicated public servant who served the state meritoriously.

Oluwatuyi’s contributions to the state’s development were highlighted by the commissioner, who noted that he played a crucial role in the state government, working closely with the Governor and other top officials.
“He served with distinction and played a crucial role in the state government. Hon. Oluwatuyi will forever be remembered for his invaluable contributions to the development of Ondo State,” Akinlosotu stated.
13 Passengers Burnt To Death In Ondo Road Crash
13 people have lost their lives in an auto crash along the Owo-Ikare Akoko Expressway, near Abule Panu village in Owo Local Government Area of the state on Saturday, December 28.
According to reports from the Ondo attaw FRSC, the accident happened around 10:14 am, when the two vehicles collided and went up in flames, claiming the lives of the passengers.
