The Registrar of Wigwe University, Ms. Ulonna Inyama, has died under mysterious circumstances during a fibroid surgery in an Abuja hospital.
Sources close to the institution revealed that she died due to complications from a wrong blood transfusion.

The family of the deceased has called for an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Ms. Inyama’s death. The university community is still reeling in shock over the sudden loss of the registrar, who was a vital part of the institution.
According to sources, Ms. Inyama died after receiving the wrong blood type during surgery. “She died of loss of blood due to fibroid complications under mysterious circumstances. We were told that a wrong blood transfusion led to her death,” a source revealed.

The death of Ms. Inyama comes just a few months after the co-founder of Wigwe University, Herbert Wigwe, died in a helicopter crash in the United States.
