TRAGIC: Three siblings dead, two hospitalized after eating yam flour in Kwara state | Daily Report Nigeria

Three siblings have been pronounced dead, while two others are hospitalized after they ate Amala in Kwara state.

This incident took place in a community in the Ilorin East Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Reports shows that five children of the same parents complained of stomach ache, and started vomiting after consuming the locally made yam flour meal(Amala).

The father of the children, who is a farmer, said he produced the yam flour himself and doesn’t know what exactly went wrong.

They were reportedly rushed to the children’s hospital in Centre Igboro but three of them were pronounced dead at the hospital, the other two survived and are responding to treatment.
