American rapper Travis Scott has been arrested in Paris following an altercation with a security guard. The Grammy-nominated artist was taken into custody on Friday at the upscale Georges V hotel in the French capital.
According to a statement from the Paris prosecutor’s office, police were called to the scene after Scott allegedly got into a confrontation with the security agent, who had stepped in to separate the rapper from his bodyguard.

This incident comes shortly after Travis Scott was seen at the Olympics’ men’s basketball semi-finals on Thursday. Earlier in June, the rapper was also arrested in Miami Beach for trespassing and disorderly intoxication.
