The spokesperson of the Nigerian Police, Prince Olumujiva Adejobi, on Thursday, June 22, 2023, made his displeasure known on seeing the video.
Adejobi described the prankster’s video involving the female minor as child abuse.
Recall that the police spokesman had earlier called for the arrest of the content creators over another controversial skit.
He said:
“This is rubbish and criminal. This guy should be arrested and charged to court. We will act as soon as possible. I hate this scene. Child abuse!”
On Friday, June 23, 2023, the police command tweeted that the prankster has accepted an invitation to meet with the Deputy Chief of Police of the State Department of Criminal Investigation.
The tweet read:
“Good Morning Fam! Abdullahi Maruf Adisa AKA Trinity reported at the Oyo State Police Command at exactly 1000hrs today. Recall he was invited yesterday over a video depicting the sexualization of a female minor. Updates would follow in sequence, please.”
Meanwhile, Adejobi
urged the victims of the controversial pranks to take legal action against all the pranksters involved.
He believed that the activities of pranksters cause more problems for police security management than they (the pranksters) get away with.
