According to counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama, preliminary investigations revealed that Dogo was allegedly transporting Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) concealed in plastic energy drink bottles and packed in 12 sacks.
During interrogation, the suspect reportedly confessed that he was heading to Gamboru-Ngala, a border town in Borno State believed to serve as a key logistics corridor for insurgents operating along the Lake Chad axis.
Items recovered from the suspect included PMS-filled bottles, charms, suspected hard drugs, rings, syringes, and other personal belongings.
Security sources said the arrest is part of ongoing efforts to disrupt Boko Haram’s supply and financial networks across the North East region.
Dogo remains in military custody as investigations continue.
