In the South-East, Operation UDOKA intensified security actions following the arrest of separatist leaders Simon Ekpa in Finland and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Abuja.

The military said the operations neutralized terrorist activities, arrested 324 suspects, rescued over 64 kidnapped persons, and recovered weapons and ammunition.

Maj.-Gen. Onoja warned that oil theft, pipeline vandalism, and criminal activities remain a threat to economic stability, but intelligence-driven operations have significantly degraded the capabilities of criminal and separatist groups in the region.
