According to Makama, the interception followed credible human intelligence which indicated that the items were being moved from Dapchi, through the Magumeri axis, to an unknown destination.
Troops of Sector 2, working in collaboration with members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), stopped the vehicles during a coordinated operation and arrested the drivers for further interrogation.
Items recovered from the intercepted vehicles include 31 spare tyres, 23 spare rims, 12 vehicle key starters, three alternators, two bicycles, two bags of flour, and one mattress.

Other seized items include five bags of charcoal, 34 tubers of yam, two blankets, nylon bags containing garri, adult and children’s clothing, one power bank, six mobile phones, and ₦92,600 in cash.
“The vehicles and all recovered items are currently in military custody, while investigations continue to establish the suspects’ level of involvement and possible links to ISWAP’s logistics network,” Makama stated.
He added that the troops reaffirmed their resolve to block supply routes, disrupt terrorist movements, and maintain sustained pressure on criminal elements operating within their area of responsibility.
