A truck has crushed a grandmother and her granddaughter to death in the Papalanto area of Ogun State.
The accident occurred on Friday, according to the spokesman for the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, Babatunde Akinbiyi.

The truck driver allegedly fled the scene after causing the damage.
Four people were involved in the accident, with the two females crushed to death. The bodies of the deceased have been handed over to their families, while the injured tricycle driver has been rescued to an unknown hospital.
Akinbiyi attributed the cause of the accident to dangerous driving by the truck driver. He warned motorists against dangerous driving, stating that it has attendant consequences. The accident vehicles have been deposited at the Itori Divisional Police Command.
