Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested a truck driver, Olalere Timileyin, and his motor boy for allegedly beating a man to death over a stolen tarpaulin.
The spokesperson for the state police command, SP Omolola Odutola, stated that the suspects were arrested after a complaint was filed by one Alao Fadipe, who witnessed the assault.
Odutola said, “The injured man was promptly taken to the State Hospital, Ijaye, for medical care, but sadly passed away during treatment. The body has been deposited at the morgue for autopsy.”
