Chelsea head coach, Thomas Tuchel has revealed his players who picked up injuries during training session ahead of Tuesday’s Carabao Cup.
The former PSG manager has said that three of Chelsea players were unable to participate in Tuesday’s Carabao clash with Southampton because of injury.
The players include Cesar Azpilicueta, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Andreas Christensen who all suffer from injuries sustained on Monday.

Azpilicueta battles with shoulder injury, Loftus Cheek has issues with his hip and Christensen has a tooth problem.

The absence of Azpilicueta and Christensen was felt at the Pensioners’ defence in the game where the hosts struggle to secure a win through Kai Havertz’s opener failed.
Che Adams had to extend the match to extra-time as he scored to level the score two minutes after the start of the second half.
However, the penalty shootout which followed was to Tuchel and citizen’s advantage.
The Blues will now be travelling to St. James’ Park for a league clash with Newcastle on Saturday, 30th of October.
