  • A rather unfortunate incident happened played out, as an accident claims lives, while displacing others.

  • Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the accident claimed not less than 12 lives, injuring dozens others.

12 people have been confirmed dead on the spot, following a tragic accident in India.

According to reports, the vehicle, which was said to have been coming from the Salasar Balaji Temple, a popular place of worship collided with a flyover while attempting to take a turn.

Police officers, who investigated the incident revealed the accident might have been caused by over speeding.

Following investigation, a total of 12 people have been confirmed to have lost their lives in the accident, while around 40 others have sustained varying degrees of injuries.

 

Reacting to news of the accident, the Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, in a post on his official X page said;

The loss of life in the bus accident in Sikar’s Laxmangarh area is extremely sad and heartbreaking. My deepest condolences are with the bereaved families of the dece@sed.

The concerned officials have been directed to ensure proper treatment of the injured. I pray to Lord Shri Ram to give place to the departed souls in his feet and grant speedy recovery to the injured.” 

 

Also, India’s prime minister, Narendra Modi added that the families of those killed in the crash will be given 200,000 Indian Rupees (around £1,829), while those hurt will get 50,000 Indian Rupees (£450).

Those injured have been taken to Jaipur. Some of the de@d have been named locally and efforts are continuing to identify the rest. Family members have been informed where possible.
