An accident involving two vehicles has claimed the lives of three persons in Lambata areain Niger State.
The accident involved an overloaded and overspeeding commercial trailer with goods which lost control with a smaller car at Gwaphice bridge where it fell in.

The vehicle according to an eyewitness, was conveying thirty six passengers on board with the driver who was going to Lagos from Kano.
The eyewitness adds that evacuation and rescue exercise was carried out by Officers and Men of the Federal Road Safety Corps in charge of that area.
The State Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps Joel Dagwa confirmed that the crash involved a commercial trailer
The Sector Commander gave the breakdown of the victims to include twenty five male adults, and seven female adults.
Two male children and two female children are not left out.
He further explained that victims who had sustained degree of injuries were taken to a medical facility in Gawu Babangida, while Corpses were taken to Sabon Wuse hospital mortuary
